Fondation Louis Vuitton, Paris

MOMA comes to Paris in this extraordinary new building, the Louis Vuitton Foundation.
Designed by Frank Gehry, the building takes the form of a sailboat's sails inflated by the wind. These glass sails envelop the 'iceberg', a series of shapes with white, flowery terraces.
I get the impression it is very much THE space in Paris right now, very hot. Enormous queues so definitely suggest purchasing tickets online if you are going.
Artists in the current exhibition, Being Modern, MoMA in Paris which runs until 5 march, 2018 include Max Beckmann, Alexander Calder, Paul Cezanne, Marcel Duchamp, Walker Evans, Jasper Johns, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Pablo Picasso, Mies van der Rohe and many more.
