David Hockney Exhibition at Tate


A NOT TO BE MISSED exhibition. Incredible to see the collection of his work from the very beginning, pictures that I grew up with all in one place. Reminded me of the first time I visited the Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam, and in fact some of his later works are reminiscent of the great man himself. Although you are not left with the sense of desperation and strife that you do with Van Gogh.

I never realised that he was so versatile, channeling Picasso amongst others. His Colgate picture totally sums up the chore that for me brusing my teeth every day. Still, has to be done...
